All of my employee accounts say either ‘Needs Upgrading’, ‘Not Confirmed’, or ‘Confirmed’. What does this mean, and do I need to do anything?
The next time that your employees log in, they can follow some simple steps to set a new password.
To help phase in this update, we have given you a way of checking your employee's account status at a glance.
- ‘Needs Upgrading’ – This means that the employee has not logged in since the 18th of January 2021, and has not set their own new and memorable password yet. Until then, they will still have their system-generated password, and a 6-digit PIN number. If they have forgotten their existing login details, these can be resent the usual way.
- ‘Not Confirmed’ – This means that they are a new employee who has not yet used their confirmation details to log in and set their password. Make sure any new employees have received their confirmation details by your chosen confirmation method. If their confirmation details have timed out, you can ‘regenerate’ new ones from their ‘Edit Employee’ page.

They will no longer need a PIN number to log in. If they forget their password, they can use the 'Forgotten your Password?' feature from the login page and follow some simple steps.
