You can develop Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) in the Health & Safety Management section of BCarm, which you access from the My Services page once you have logged in.
Our Safe Systems Module allows you to develop Safe Systems which will include the following information:
- Task Description
- Related Risk Assessments
- Permit to Work requirements
- Training requirements
- PPE requirements
- Safety Instructions
- Sequence of Work
You can also upload images to the SSOW to provide greater clarity for operatives.
If you chose to make a Safe System the subject of a Toolbox Talk, you can include these in your Training Matrix, which will also allow you to set "retraining" periods.
For similar Safe Systems it is easy to create copies and then edit these.
When working on third party sites you can create Method Statements.
In this section you will find the following for Managing Contractors or Third Parties coming on to your site(s):
- Permit to Work
- Hot Work Permit
- Working at Height Permit
- Method Statement Review
